Who is AusBiotech?

AusBiotech is Australia’s industry organisation, working on behalf of members for more than 30 years to provide representation and services to promote the global growth of Australian biotechnology. AusBiotech is a well-connected network of over 3,000 members in the life sciences, including therapeutics, medical technology (devices and diagnostics), food technology and agricultural, environmental and industrial sectors.

What is the Advanced Manufacturing Summit (AMS) 2016?

AMS 2016 will feature expert presentations and the sharing of knowledge about how to develop Australia’s capacity as a technologically-innovative global manufacturer of goods such as medical devices and bio-pharmaceuticals.

Business attire is preferred during the conference days and all networking events.

How do I register for the conference?

Invitation letter for Visa Application

International visitors to Australia may need to apply for a visa prior to arrival. You are urged to apply for a visa no less than six weeks prior to arrival. For more information about visa applications, please visit http://www.immi.gov.au/visawizard/.

If you require a letter of invitation to accompany your visa application, you must register and pay for your conference attendance, then contact the conference organisers via events@ausbiotech.org to request an invitation. Should your visa application be denied, conference registration fees will be refunded if the conference organisers are advised more than 30 days prior to the commencement of the conference.

Is AusBiotech membership required to attend the conference?

No, however we encourage you to become an AusBiotech member. If you join AusBiotech within 30 days of the conference, the difference in registration fees will be refunded to you (after the conference). Consider becoming an AusBiotech member to enjoy membership prices to the summit, as well as the opportunity to secure future exhibition and sponsorship packages at reduced rates, along with the many other benefits that membership brings.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be made in writing to AusBiotech at events@ausbiotech.org
1. Cancellations made before Friday 23 September 2016 will receive a refund, less a $250 administration fee.
2. Cancellations made after Friday 23 September 2016 will not receive a refund.
3. No refunds will be issued until after the conference.
4. Substituting names will be accepted only prior to the conference. Registration is valid for the named attendee only. Substituting a delegate from the same organisation is welcome as long as AusBiotech is notified by email events@ausbiotech.org
